Superb debut solo LP from US percussionist and bold musical traveller Michael Shrieve who's career spans from being Santana's main drummer to electronic and ambient endeavours with the likes of Klaus Schulze and Steve Roach. Wonderfully varied album that goes from the meditative moody chug of Oasis, the Linn drum-computer madness of Interlock to the 4th World marimba percussions of Orungutan. Full recommendations!
