Fantastic album by Pleasure, a soul/funk band founded in Portland whose beginnings were deeply rooted in jazz. These guys could really play and clearly had no qualms fusing the funk with whatever musical style inspired them, this one features the Loft classic 'Take a change' which is a total jam, the sweet soul stepper 'Living without you' and more tasty stuff that's on the one like the hard hitting riffs of the instrumental 'Law of the land' and the thumping 'Now you choose me'
